As we have mentioned before, our Icon apps are evolving. Thus in this process we need to enhance our AR experience, to do so we’ve partnered with Wikitude, which we think offer the best AR experience related with geolocation, which is where the Icon Apps thrive! Why Wikitude? Well …

• A more straightforward API
• It’s more developed for Geo AR
• They drive AREL, which in case you’re not aware stands for Augmented Reality Experience Language. A proposed AR standard for use between browsers. So far Metaio & Wikitude are able to use this language.
• No CMS in between our content and the app
